BASIC OPERATING

INFORMATION

HOURS

The library is open from 8:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m every Monday through Friday.

 

Before school, during class time, and after school students can check grades, work on classwork, check out books, read, or take Reading Counts tests.

 

During lunch time, students are allowed to play school appropriate computer games, play board games, read, do homework, or visit quietly with friends.

 

NO READING COUNTS TESTS 

DURING LUNCH HOURS PLEASE!

LIBRARY BOOK CHECK-OUT 

Students are allowed to check out up to 3 books or magazines for 2 weeks each if they have no overdue books.

 

Students with a current VISA card are allowed to check out 4 books at any one time. 

 

If you have a lost books, you not be charged for your book until the end of the school year. Many books turn up throughout the year.

LIBRARY EXPECTATIONS
Responsible:
  • I can return books on time.

  • I can treat books and computers with care.

 

Safe:
  • I can walk in the library.

  • I can remember to push in my chair.

  • I can remember that horseplay belongs outside.

Respectful:
  • I can be quiet.

  • I can keep food, candy, and drink outside the library.
